Mi color favorito es el amarillo. Por el sol, una crayola medio derretida que me huele a tarjeta de cumpleaños, mi camiseta preferida, una lima-limón en agua fría, un florero, las hebillas para el pelo, el UHU, la felicidad, la piña, las flores del pasto. Las portadas de los libros memorables, la mostaza, una cerveza fría en un día caliente y los peces neón en el fondo del mar.
Es luminoso e intenso. Un color optimista, primario y básico.
Le queda bien a pocas personas.

Me compré una flor de ese color y la puse en una matera exquisita, despejé todo lo que había en una mesa, y la dejé ahí: sola, imponente y poderosa.
Un feliz recordatorio a mi misma.

Mi auto-recordatorio en un día que me veo borrosa en el espejo.
Ahí está el amarillo. En el centro de todo.

Yellow is my favorite color. It is bright and intense. An optimistic, primary and basic color.

I bought a plant with a yellow flower and planted it in an exquisite pot, cleared everything from the table, and left it there: alone, sublime and powerful.
A happy reminder to myself.

A self-reminder, that even on bad days, when I look blurry in the mirror, there it is.
